Finding My Way Back To Writing

On our ways to reach our dreams sometimes life gets in our way. Or even death.

Like now. For me.

It will probably take a year or more for my heart to mend.

But I still know what my dream is. This is still the time to work for my dreams to come true.

Slowly I’m working on finding my way back to writing. The last copule of weeks only one of my stories compels to me. The Hidden People. I guess I find the story so compelling because it is soaked in magic and it let’s me disappear into unknown worlds. It is also at the core about life and death and everything in between. It is so dramatic and it is just what I need right now. Word for word, thought for thought I try to find back to my story again. I try to remember that the world is really such a magical, enchanting, devastating but loving place – we just have to look for it.

I also read some quotes by Charles Dickens that I really loved and would like to share with you:

“Consider nothing impossible, then treat possibilities as probabilities.”

“Great achievements are the results of great expectations. You will see it happen only when you believe it will happen.”

“Whatever I have tried to do in life, I have tried with all my heart to do it well; whatever I have devoted myself to, I have devoted myself completely; in great aims and in small I have always thoroughly been in earnest.”

“A loving heart is the truest wisdom.”

“Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.”

And one from me to you: 😉
